An empowering and joyful dance theatre program for kids!

The Ephyras is a Brooklyn-based youth ensemble featuring dancers ranging in age from 3 to 14.

During weekly lessons, your child will learn:

• precise technique from a range of dance styles including ballet, modern and hip hop

• dance and text improvisation

• movement composition

• vocalization and basic harmony

• self-empowerment through acting

Our program integrates these elements into a final performance, accompanied by live and original music. With professional dancers as mentors and collaborators, The Ephyras work to expand ideas of what dance and theatre can be, and much of the material used in performance is created by the kids themselves.
